Diamonds & Pearls
Overview | Diamonds & Pearls
Starting in the Ionian Sea, this exceptional voyage calls at Greek islands and mainland destinations both large and small as we journey through the Gulf of Corinth and onto Athens via the Corinth Canal visiting a new destination every day.
With our small boats we can reach beautiful beaches and remote coves that are inaccessible to bigger vessels. During the day, you can enjoy swimming, snorkelling, barbequing, sunbathing, exploring ashore, or simply doing nothing at all.
Our Health Coach will organise light physical activities such as aqua gym, pilates, or calisthenics as well as daily yoga. In the evening, we reach harbour or moor within easy reach of charming towns and villages.

Itinerary
ITINERARY | DAY 1
Known for its cosmopolitan and beautifully preserved, and UNESCO listed, Old Town, with its grand palace, Venetian fortresses, narrow streets and vaulted passage, Corfu, an island in the Ionian Sea, is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Greece. Beyond the Old Town lie spectacular beaches and stunning natural landscapes.
Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by olive groves, cypress trees and thick pine forests the small town of Syvota feels like an undiscovered treasure. The harbour is the focal point of the town where fisherman tend to their boats and land the day’s catch which is served in tavernas and restaurants just a short stroll from the water’s edge.
ITINERARY | DAY 2
One of the main yachting destinations in the Ionian Sea, Nydri has a fascinating coastline full of sheltered bays and offshore islands including Skorpios, privately owned by the Onassis family. Although a busy tourist destination with a wide range of restaurants and other facilities it is still essentially a village that’s easy to explore. Towering mountains, crystalline beaches and the famous Rahi Waterfall are also within easy reach.
ITINERARY | DAY 3
Vathi is the largest settlement on the island of Ithaca – although it is still not much more than a fishing village or small resort. The sandy beach is a mile long with enough bars to keep you well refreshed and the Church of Taxiarches which stands in front of the small port is more than iconic sight, it is in regular use and hosts traditional Greek weddings.
ITINERARY | DAY 4
Surrounded by breathtaking scenery including the tranquil Gulf of Patras and the rugged mountains of the Peloponnese, Mesologi is a charming town famous for its local cuisine, especially the seafood. There’s plenty to explore including the remains of a Venetian castle, a church dating back to the 11th century.
ITINERARY | DAY 5
Loutraki, a lively seaside resort, located on mainland Greece, on the Gulf of Corinth, is known for its natural springs and therapeutic spas. Four kilometers of mainly pebbly beach stretches from one end of the town to the other. The town is very cosmopolitan, has some wonderful restaurants and is a good place to buy local produce such as wine, honey , olive oil and dried herbs.
ITINERARY | DAY 6
This stop is another highlight of the trip offering the opportunity to snorkel in crystal clear water over the ruins of the sunken city of Epidavros. Lying just 4 -6 feet below the surface you can get up close to Mycenaean tombs from the 12 th century BC, amphorae, the foundations of various buildings and the ancient city marketplace (Agora).
ITINERARY | DAY 7
The birthplace of democracy. Remnants of Athens’ colourful past include the Acropolis, Parthenon and the Temple of Zeus (Olympic Temple) to name just a few. We’ve included a guided tour of the Acropolis on the final afternoon of your trip which still leaves time to enjoy the evening on the Plaka: a pedestrianised area in the shadow of the Acropolis it’s one of Athens nicest neighbourhoods and packed with cafés and good restaurants.
